  • Hibiscus Flower
  • Pineapple
  • Ginger
  • Grains of Selim
  • Cloves
  • Red chili pepper
  • Red pepper corn
  • Sweetener (Sugar/ Honey)


  • Soak hibiscus flower for some hours (to get juice extracted)
  • Strain hibiscus flower into a cooking pot to obtain juice 
  • Put cooking pot on fire on low heat
  • Allow hibiscus flower juice to simmer for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes, pour simmered juice into bowl and allow it cool
  • Peel pineapple, put the peels of pineapple into a cooking pot, add water and put on fire to boil. (Boiled peels of pineapple will be used to boil main pineapple)
  • Cut pineapple fruit into smaller pieces
  • Put chopped pineapple into blender, add juice from boiled pineapple peels to it and blend
  • Pour blended pineapple into a different bowl
  • Put ginger, grains of selim, cloves, red pepper chili and red pepper corn in blender
  • Add water then blend
  • Strain the blended spices to obtain the liquid
  • Now, we have our blended spices, pineapple juice and hibiscus flower juice
  • Pour pineapple juice into the hibiscus flower juice
  • Add spices and sweetener according to the way you want
  • Stir very well
  • Ready to serve
