The Presbyterian Boys have made history by becoming the 1st school to defend its title twice (2008/09 & 2022/23) in the National Science & Maths Quiz as the competition celebrates its 30 years anniversary. The favourites of this tournament took the lead in the 1st round and maintained their lead until the end of the final round. The 4th round was a close contest as the Presby Boys lost consecutive points after failing to answer most of their True or False statements correctly allowing Achimota School (Motown) and Opoku Ware School (OWASS) to close the gap.

The Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School’s performance in the final round was unmatched, as the boys were in full gear. They answered every possible riddle presented, with boldness and surety. Motown and OWASS put up a good fight, but the boys in blue were too strong an opponent.

PRESEC Legon scored a total of 40 points at the end of the contest while Achimota School and Opoku Ware School came in as 1st and 2nd runners-up with 28 points and 23 points, respectively. Either of the runners-up will have to wait for another chance to claim their 3rd trophies.

With three (3) wins from five (5) consecutive finals appearances dating back to 2019, the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School continues to dominate as the most successful school in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ). Ɔdadeɛ!
